Bad textbook, contradicts itself multiple times, see other reviews for examples. Super redundant, I wouldn't buy/rent it!
School text needed for school. Came promptly for start of class. Came as described.

Item was not as described. Showed major signs of use and water marks indicating the book had been previously wet.
Love this book in the kindle addition. You can search key words. You also have less bulk laying around the house. It is a well written book that covers the normal changes in aging. You can use it on your kindle app on which ever tablet you use.
This is exactly what I needed for my geriatric medsurg course. It's great to rent books.
I agree with the other 1-star ratings. Pick a different book. Contradictions everywhere. This book contradicts many nursing fundamental principles. The publisher exam questions the instructor used where based on minor detail recall. Lots of information, lot of tables and charts, lot of contradictions. Rationales completely contradict them selves from the 2nd edition chapter review questions for online resources on basic fundamental teachings. Very disappointed in the textbook.
I'm preparing for the NHA exams - this book was recommend to me by the DON at JHC. This will be a keeper in my personal / professional library.
